OATMEAL
- Is well known for a variety of skin benefits, though I cant make any claims as to its benefits in my bars but this is a very powerful grain in many ways
MANUKA HONEY
- It imparts a light sweet scent and acts as a humectant. The added sugar content helps increase lather making it a particularly effective cleanser yet remains mild and gentle on skin. It also contains anti-microbial properties
ACTIVATED CHARCOAL
- Its not exactly scientifically proven but this ingredient is often used for its detoxifying properties whether is be skin care or oral care. Its said that is can absorb toxins and be able to remove the toughest grease and grime. Activated charcoal theoretically binds to dirt and oil on the skin and helps clear out pores
GROUND PUMICE
- The abrasive texture of pumice makes it an excellent additive for a heavy duty hand soap. When rubbing your hands together during the hand washing process, the pumice exfoliates skin removing tough grease and grime
POPPY SEEDS
- Slightly more gentle option for exfoliation to that of ground pumice
SYNTHETIC MICA
- Creates stunning colour and design to enhance the aesthestics of your soap bars. These are lab made micas
FRAGRANCE OIL
- To mask the sometimes unpleasant scent of the raw butters and oils and to leave a fragrance on the skin after washing to excite the senses
